i agree. i like her voice on its own and i think shed be great solo or with another group but it just doesnt fit with the others (and its not like they NEED a female singer when most of the "female" parts are sung by mitch anyway)

That is about what I expected and she will probably be #1 when streaming is taken into account. Its weird to me how radio is all over her right now considering she isn't selling particularly well or getting good callout. Like, she is REALLY lucky that radio is determined to play her no matter what right now or this era would be a total embarrassing disaster.

I really doubt it. I doubt any record label would pour that much money into two songs over the course of months neither of which are selling that well for an artist like Demi Lovato. Payola itself is usually used in short-term instances (like, the first week of release or when you are top 3 and need a nudge to get to the top). Not months of a run for a song like Cool for the Summer and now Confident too.
The only suggestion I have is maybe she is the only one or the biggest star doing fluffy throwaway generic pop right now so radio is filling a hole and they would drop her in a second if Katy Perry released something.

i suprisingly like Selena's album! I love revival, hands to myself, good for you, nobody & perfect.. she really whispered herself into my heart!
