-Jay Z and Timbaland are being sued for ALLEGEDLY sampling "Khosara Khosara" on "Big Pimpin"
-They were forced to go to court in Los Angeles on Oct 14th after trying to hold it off
-Jay Z claimed that he had no idea it was sampled since he was just shown the track by Timbaland
-Timbaland claimed that he found it on an unlicensed CD, didn't know the original artist, paid rights to Universal Music Egypt, and that the sample wasn't significant to the overall song
-Jay Z was asked how he didn't know and said he doesn't do that, he makes music
-When asked to elaborate on what he does for a living, this exchange happened between him and his lawyer:
Jay Z: "I make music, I'm a rapper, I've got a clothing line, I run a label, a media label called Roc Nation, with a sports agency, music publishing and management. Restaurants and nightclubs ... I think that about covers it."
Lawyer: "I'm not so sure. You have a music streaming service, don't you?"
Jay Z: "Yeah, yeah. Forgot about that"
