Friday's playoff baseball day started out with a marathon 14-inning game between the Blue Jays and Rangers, with the Rangers taking the game. Now with a 2-0 advantage, the Rangers return to Texas for what could be the series-winning game 3.

Today's action: Game 2 of both NLDS series. Cubs' Hendricks will take on Cardinals' Garcia in St. Louis (5:30pm ET), and Mets' Syndergaard vs. Dodgers' Cy Young Candidate Greinke in Los Angeles (9pm ET). Yesterday's losers will be looking for splits before the series move to the other cities for game 3. AL teams are off for a travel day.

sorry I didn't get this post up last night. my car broke down yesterday and it was just like nonstop suck and I just wanted to sleep. BUT today is a new day! Congrats to Cards, Rangers, Royals, and Mets fans. Cubs, Jays, Astros, and Dodger fans: remember, no crying in baseball!* And things can always change with the next game

*there is totally crying in baseball

edit: feel free to make this a viewing post as it was posted in a timely manner just in time for the start of today's games!
