Kelly Rutherford's PR Team Strikes Again

Kelly continues her PR game of lies again regarding her custody battle, this time conning a Vanity Fair journalist into printing an article full of lies and half-truths. Daniel and his lawyer declined to comment or be interviewed for the article, which the "journalist" apparently took as license to print Kelly's version of events, without even bothering to fact-check it against the publicly available court record.

Among Kelly's lies in the article, documented to be false in the court ruling:

-Says Daniel requested sole custody, while she requested joint. The court ruling clearly states Kelly "has consistenly advocated for and requested sole legal custody or versions thereof." Daniel, on the other hand, "has consistently advocated for a collaborative co-parenting relationship wherein both parties would exercise joint legal and physical custody."
-Says Daniel demanded to be in the birthing room for Helena's birth. The court ruling states Daniel never requested to be in the birthing room, and only ever requested to be present at the hospital for the birth.
-Says Daniel met and held his daughter the day after her birth. The court ruling says Kelly admitted this was a lie, and that she did not tell Daniel about their daughter's birth.
-Says she always wanted Daniel to see the children but only ever worried about the harm to the children, and the article cites an evaluator's comments about their son's anxiety, painting this as a result of visitation with Daniel. The court ruling states that their son had a strong attachment to Daniel, and that being away from him, was the cause of his anxiety. The court ruling also notes that Kelly made custody transitions difficult for the children.

The article also questions the whole rationale of awarding primary physical custody to the parent who best facilitates the relationship of the children with the other parent, saying this discriminates against mothers, and that it's unrealistic to expect parents in a custody fight to not talk shit about the other parent to their kids (??????).
