ONTD Pop Music Original: Where Are They Now?

Many of these pop singers gave us some bops but faded away into music obscurity. Let's take a look at what they've been doing since their initial success faded.

Blu Cantrell

Songs You Might Remember: "Hit 'Em Up Style (Oops!)" and "Breathe" (featuring Sean Paul).

Current status: She does the occasional acting job. She was in the musical stage play Gossip, Lies and Secrets with LisaRaye and RHOA's Kenya Moore in 2007. She had a cameo role in Nick Cannon’s Drum Line.

In 2014, she was hospitalized for a psych evaluation after allegedly running through the streets, ranting about people trying to kill her by giving her "poisonous gas." Several articles pointed to her working on new music but nothing has been released yet.

Songs You Might Remember: "He Loves U Not" and "This Is Me"

Current status: They pop/r&b group did their own things after the original break up.
In January of 2015, original band member Ashley Poole released a single featuring Daytona called Sometimes.

On May 11, 2015, all the original members of Dream got together for a mini-reunion and posted a video online performing a acapella version of their 2000 single "He Loves U Not". Dream also announced they would be making a comeback and launched a Twitter and Facebook page for their resurrection.

They also have a FB and Twitter.

Songs you might remember: “Don’t Mess With My Man” and “Laundromat”

Current status: Nivea was married to The-Dream and had several children but divorced.
After the divorce, Nivea reconciled with her ex-fiance Lil Wayne and they had a child. Nivea and Lil Wayne ended their engagement a year later. Nivea claimed that Lil Wayne's artist Shanell Woodgett was the reason behind the split. It was all messy and complicated and would make for a good lifetime movie.

Nivea has been releasing mix tapes in the last few years. The 32-year-old had plans to put out Nivea Revealed this year, which will be her first studio release since the 2011 EP, Nivea: Undercover.

"The title in itself is pretty much the premise of the album," she explained. "Nivea Revealed will be my chance to expose, or reveal, a lot about me that people don’t know. Not just me personally, but the story of my journey.”

Her last official single was "Okay" with Lil Jon and YoungBloodZ

Songs you might remember: "Cleopatra's Theme", "Life Ain't Easy" and "U Got It"

Current status: In 2005 the band came together for a one off performance on ITV1's, Hit Me, Baby, One More Time.

In November of 2009, Cleopatra performed a comeback show live at Embassy in London

Most recently, member Cleo Higgins appeared on 'The Voice UK' to kick-start what she hoped would be a successful music career. She exited the show during the semi finals on 15 June 2013.

Samantha Mumba

Songs you might remember: "Gotta Tell You" and "Baby, Come Over"

Current status: She's continued to put out music over the years but without her original success.
She gave birth to a baby daughter which Mumba and her husband named Sage.

She did an interview with a kinda shady lady last year and she talks about her success and what she's been up to lately. She actually talks about being locked into her label and not being able to follow up success with a second album. She gets really cute talking about working with Steven Spielberg.

Who needs to make a comeback?
