Golden Globe nominee and football groupie Shakira decided to throw her fans a bone after eight months of nothing by announcing on Twitter that she'll be participating in Disney's new animated film "Zootopia," to be premiered in March, 2016. She will also be singing a song named "Try Everything" for the movie.
"Try Everything" was written by Sia and songwriting duo Stargate. This will be the second time Shakira puts her voice to a Sia song - Sia wrote her bonus track "Chasing Shadows" for the Colombian's self-titled album.
The movie (according to Wikipedia) centers around a modern mammal metropolis called Zootopia, where animals from every environment live together. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), to solve the mystery. The film is directed by Byron Howard (“Tangled”) and Rich Moore (“Wreck-It Ralph”), and produced by Clark Spencer (“Wreck-It Ralph”)
Shakira will voice Gazelle, the city's biggest pop star. Fans are still in shock for getting music news, since they expected another 4-year wait for the lack of Shakira news unrelated to her family or football.

I can't believe we're getting any kind of music news. I wasn't expecting anything career-related until December. Should voice the character in three languages tbh.
