I don't think Jack Hyde ever has sex in the books, he just weirdly sexually harasses Ana. Or that's what I've gathered from the Tumblr summaries I've read haha.

It's no weirdly. He's ridiculously over the top harassment that leads to a rather comically cliche attempt at raping her that is only an excuse for Christian to come in and buy out the company and make her the boss (like two weeks after starting in an entry level position) in order to make her "safe"/further stalk her, which then leads to Jack becoming a moustache twirling villain that propels the "plot" of the third book.

This is too hilarious. Now you made me want to read the book.

Jack Hyde is supposed to be the vampire, James Hunter, who took Bella to the ballet studio to torture her. This is Icy's version of that character, a man who becomes obsessed with Anastasia and sexually harasses her instead of torturing her in a ballet studio.

Notice she didn't even bother to change the initials? J.H., the same for both.

Jack's ultimate motivation for wanting to ~ruin Christian's life is that Christian got adopted by a rich, loving family and Jack got adopted by terrible people and therefore he wants revenge.

I doubt it. weren't there rumors about him being in the first one & he said no way? they're always trying to attach popular names to this stupid project.
