Britney's label considering cancelling her album release due to failure of 'Pretty Girls' to impact on sales and AirPlay.— Music Spy (@MusicBizSpy) May 22, 2015
After intensive promo, including a music video and a BBMA performance, Britney Spears' first single off her new album (featuring Iggy Azalea) failed to become the summer hit the label was hoping for.
The song is #31 on the iTunes chart and it peaked on radio during it's first week Clear Channel deal, after which it was dropped from heavy rotation.
Her previous album Britney Jean was a big commercial disappointment abd her label is probably trying to avoid a "Britney Jean Pt. 2".
