I’ve had a lot to learn in the last couple years and a lot of that was about finding a person that meant a lot to me and getting married, and realizing what commitment is about, and loving people. And I realized I’ve been difficult to a lot of people, my wife and my band and my friends and probably my family…and it’s hard being 37 and learning a lot of hard lessons you should’ve learned when you were 17, but I’m learning them, I guess. And this song’s about that and it’s about those people who have been dealing with me for so long. So bear with me, it’s the first time I’m playing this in front of people.”
