Digital Spy offers up a look at tonight's episode, The Good Traitor, which introduces us to new cast members Colin Salmon and Antonia Thomas. Salmon's character is a former Spanish general and exiled Moor who has to enlist the help of the Musketeers when his daughter, Samara (Thomas), is captured in Paris.
Thomas said she jumped at the chance to work on the show as she'd been a fan of the first series, and was happy that her story line sheds light on a piece of history often ignored -- the Spanish exile of their Moorish population. She's also excited to be playing a "strong young woman."
Porthos and Samara may or may not be love interests in future, but Thomas says that Samara's presence causes Porthos (who is half Moorish) to have a crisis of identity, leading back to the tease we heard in the premiere about Treville knowing and concealing the identities of Porthos's parents (one of whom is going to be Davos Seaworth which is... interesting).
Also released this week were a load of photos for episodes 3 and 4, including some spoiler-y ones for any Athos/Milady fans (aka. people with taste):
Episode 3+4 (more at the source):
This baby seems doubtful.
This Queen seems doubtful.
Colin Salmon bringing the historical accuracy.
I have no idea.
I don't know who gave her Sansa hair this series, but I don't like it.
Casual Market Outfit.
See what I mean? King's Landing hair.
Get money, I guess.
Basically everyone's hair sucks this series.
I don't know who this is, but I hope he's staying.
Literally everyone's hair is the worst.
She just saw a mirror.
I think this may actually be from the second episode. The source was very unclear. Just enjoy?
More Colin and his excellent beard.
Don't know. Don't want to know.
I'm getting worried at how much of a mess all of this is going to be.
"I know eating dinner can be hard."
Porthos loves this post, though.
And a bonus boot camp picture, because it's cute:
