Seattle suburb bans cheese and Milwaukee radio station bans Seattle artists because of football

This Sunday the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers go head to head in the NFC Championship Game. Since football is very serious business Seattle suburb Bainbridge Island actually issued an executive order that bans any employees of City Hall from bringing / eating cheese.

The city manager Douglas Schulze even told CNN in a recent interview, "I'm going to arrive early, and we'll have some type of cheese grater or shredder available so if anybody brings in cheeses or cheese products, we'll have to dispose of them."

If you don't live in this particular suburb and don't work for City Hall this wouldn't affect you in any way but this has pissed off a lot of Wisconsin residents who love both football and cheese. The general manager of the Mars Cheese Castle (which yes that is a thing) has suggested that people in Wisconsin ban Starbucks and Seattle related coffee. Meanwhile Milwaukee radio station 94.5 the Lake has put a ban on Seattle based artists including Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Heart until the game is over.
