Frozen, The Hunger Games, Breaking Bad inspire the most popular baby names of 2014

Unsurprisingly, more and more parents are naming their kids after Frozen characters. According to the UK's BabyCentre, Elsa has been rising like the break of dawn as the 75th most popular name for girls in 2014. Both Olaf and Kristoff have also been chosen by new parents for the first time this year.

The Hunger Games: Primrose; Effie (not in the top 100); Gale (for boys and girls); no Katniss/Peeta/Portia/Octavia registered yet

Gravity: Ryan (three girls)

MCU: Loki (five boys)

X-Men: Logan (for boys and girls, #22 for boys)

Breaking Bad: Skyler (up by 322%, for boys and girls); Jesse (up by 140%); Walter (up by 100%)

Game of Thrones: Daenerys (four girls); Emilia (new entry, #53 for girls); Tyrion (two boys); John (#98 for boys); Jonathan (new entry to top 100)

OITNB: Piper (up by 300%)
