Adam Brody left The O.C. seven years ago, but he does not miss the show and Seth Cohen.
"It was a wonderful time, but I'm significantly older [...] "I mean, maybe it's the equivalent of, like, 'Do you miss being back in college?' -- which I never went to, but...there are fun things about it. But that character? No. That was a character from 2004, and it's very much of that time...My interests don't lie there at all anymore."
"It's funny, because I do so many things, and they mean something to me, and maybe they mean something to a few people. And this is like a story that I was a part of that I sort of share with a certain generation, and in that way, it's an honor. It's something I'm proud of."
"It doesn't bother me...I'm proud of the legacy, [but] it gets boring, that's all...I've exhausted it, the conversations about it, in my mind. Forgive me for comparing myself in any way -- and I'm not -- but Harrison Ford, I understand why he would be crotchety talking about Star Wars...Star Wars is great, but he's been talking about it for 20, 30 years."
Adam was also recently cast as a series regular for a 10 episode direcTV network drama Billy & Billie. The Source states, Billy & Billie "follows two stepsiblings—Brody and Joyce—who fall in love and must face the attention and scrutiny from their family and friends and must decide what is right for them."
