Duggar Family Embraces Voyeurism, Wants to See You Kissing

Though the Duggar Family is known for modesty, having gone as far as putting a censor bar over exposed knees of the female Duggars when things have gotten a little wild, they may have found something that gets them more fired up than a bush at Mount Horeb. What is it that might have Jim Bob and Michelle working on number 20? A Walmart sale on denim skirts and hairspray? Chick-Fil-A allowing you to pay by reciting Bible verses? Euro Jesus returning to impeach Obama and declare a Christian-style sharia law in the United States? Not quite, but after seeing a photo of their newly married daughter, Kourtney, kissing her husband, they've finally been able to answer the question that Jim Bob asked Michelle during their first double date, "Does that turn you on?"

A quick recap...Collapse )

Jim Bob and Michelle have taken to their Facebook page to ask for people to send photos of themselves kissing their spouse with the following message:

God designed marriage to be a loving, dynamic relationship between a husband and wife for a lifetime. God loves marriage and it is supposed to be full of love, joy, fun and romance. Marriage is where romance belongs! Recently, Ben & Jessa received some criticism for posting a kissing picture. We are so grateful they waited to share their first kiss until after marriage. We’ve been married 30 years and are still in love! We had fun trying to duplicate Ben and Jessa's happily married kissing picture. We challenge all married couples to take a happily married picture and post it here.

Chances are we won't be seeing the Kris Jenner of Arkansas, Jim Bob Duggar, on TLC's My Strange Obsession, icing his wrists after using the family Facebook page to ask for fans to send in photos of themselves in all stages of pregnancy in an attempt to satisfy his maiesiophilia. His taste remains as vanilla as the melted ice cream handed out to the 1000 guests as his daughter's wedding. Jim Bob and Michelle seem to only want to see photos of specific types of couples. Many couples noticed their photos were being deleted, despite receiving hundreds of likes and many positive comments. The photos removed were mainly of same-sex couples, though some interracial couples had photos removed, as well.

The Duggar family challenged "all married couples to take a happily married picture and post it" to their Facebook and that is the result when a happily married couple answered their challenge.

My comment was deleted and I was banned. I wrote, "I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope that one day all the effort that goes into stopping marriage equality will go to curing cancer." This was a comment on a photo of a man, his daughter, and his husband on his husband's 50th birthday. This was the last birthday they spent together before his husband died of cancer. That photo also looks to have been deleted.
