ONTD Original: 15 Earworm Songs You Forgot You Loved

This list is in no particular order, and probably includes a lot of songs you don't think about until they turn up on the radio and a make your day.

1. Where Do You Go - No Mercy

All the explanation needed: "Where do you go-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
I wanna know-know-kn-know-oh-oh-oh."

2. Teenage Dirtbag - Wheatus

Teenage Dirtbag is on the soundtrack to the movie Loser and has a singer with a somehow more nasally voice than Billy Corgan.

3. Lovefool - The Cardigans

The song is peaceful but still catchy, with a colourful video.

4. Break My Stride - Unique II

Unique II's dance version is a cover of Matthew Wilder's 80s song. Both were hits.

5. Shalalalala - Vengaboys

This music video has way more cleavage than I remember, a qt aesthetic and a song you can clap and/or square dance to.

6. Walkin' on the Sun - Smash Mouth

The first few bars of the song are enough to grab your attention and it builds from there. Summer anthem material.

7. Freestyler - Bombfunk MCs

I still don't know what this song is about, but memorable lyrics include "Who the f*ck is Alice, is she from Buckingham Palace?" and one that name drops Celine Dion and the song Karma Chameleon.

8. Your Woman - White Town

The song is a good mix of melancholic and catchy. One man band Jyoti Prakash Mishra purposely wrote the song with no one perspective in mind.

9. Don't Call Me Baby - Madison Avenue

Madison Avenue's other hit was Who the Hell Are You. Both are catchy as hell.

10. Sweet Like Chocolate - Shanks & Bigfoot

Sweet Like Chocolate is very saccharine, almost to the point of being annoying. The "da da da da da da da" refrain will be stuck in your head for like a week, sry.

11. Glockenpop - Spiderbait

Glockenpop is more candy-coated than Spiderbait's other musical offerings, and has a colourful music video to match.

12. Steal My Sunshine - Len

Even if you don't know the band's name (or that they are in fact not a solo artist, whoops), you probably recognise the song.

13. If Ya Gettin Down - 5ive

Complete with pyrotechnics and a dance that just looks kind of weird, this music video topped off a fun song. They might not be remembered to the extent of BSB or Nsync but they sure had some catchy songs.

14. What is Love - Haddaway

This song was a huge hit for Haddaway in the early nineties, and has a pretty great music video (lady in the yellow top is going for it). The song was sung in a milk commercial, resulting in this Ad Road Test by Australian comedy team The Chaser

15. Don't Say You Love Me - M2M

This song is on a Pokemon movie soundtrack apparently and taught us all about the importance of not telling people you love them 0.5 seconds into your first date.
