RAPPER Iggy Azalea took to Twitter on Thursday to deliver a rant about the way her Australian record label has dealt with her image.
THE 24-year-old claims the label gave Cosmopolitan and Maxim magazines permission to use outdated photos.
"Im going to publicly say something to the australian division of my record label right now because my message seems to be
ignored privately (sic)," Iggy said.
"stop giving permission on my behalf for magazines to purchase images of me that have already been printed in major publications for covers," Iggy pleaded.
"australian label, i love you guys but you allowed my image to be sold to cosmo Aus when i told you i would prefer for that not to happen.
"and now this morning i see you've allowed maxim australia to buy an image from a 2011 complex mag shoot and put it on the cover (sic)."
But the Black Widow hitmaker was added a dose of constructive criticism to the equation.
She thought it was "awesome" a magazine would be interested in having her on its cover but that it had been done the wrong way.
"the australian label clearly aren't respecting my wishes. a magazine cover deserves an accompanying photoshoot not a reused image," Iggy elaborated, before extending a note to the magazine in question.
"maxim australia, thanks for the love and I'm sorry no one asked me. i would have love to have given an interview & done a shoot with u guys."
P!nk also exposed that her label has not been very welcoming to a mid-tempo first single which explains why most of her first singles have had a similar sound and style
"A selection of my songs has always been calm and reflective. But clearly I find it difficult to convince my record agency to put these out as first singles."
Has your fave ever disagreed with her label?
