The good people of the Democratic Republic of Congo were treated to a performance put on by ‘Locked Up‘ singer Akon recently, taking to the country to watch him bring a number of his biggest hits to life in the city of Goma.
Unfortunately, if criticisms aimed the singer’s way hold any weight, his audience soon learned that they could look but not touch when he decided to crowd-surf in a giant bubble…in a reported bid to avoid catching the Ebola virus.
‘The Ebola virus is no joke,’ harrumphed The Source website. ‘And to avoid contracting it from anybody, when Akon left the stage to crowd surf with the people that were attending his concert, he did so in a huge plastic protective bubble.’
