One Direction's Niall Horan celebrates his 21st birthday

One Direction star Niall Horan celebrated his 21st birthday last night by throwing a huge party in London with some celebrity pals.

The Mullingar hearthrob, who officially marks the milestone on September 13, was joined in an East London venue by his older brother Greg and famous friends MTV’s Laura Whitmore, RTE presenter Eoghan McDermott and Voice of Ireland coach Bressie.

Niall is currently on tour in the US with band One Direction and will be performing in California on his birthday as part of the Where We Are tour with bandmates Harry Styles (20), Zyan Malik (21), Liam Payne (21) and Louis Tomlinson (22).

Last night, pals Laura Whitmore (29) and Eoghan McDermott (31) took to twitter to post pictures of the celebrations.

MTV presenter Laura shared a picture saying, “so apparently someone is turning 21...” and left no doubt as to who it was, with the group pictured wearing masks of the popstar.

She followed this up with a further picture of the group enjoying the celebrations.

Niall’s only brother Greg also shared a picture of the two siblings with a emotional message.

“Big love bro nearly 21 wow I remember the day u were born mate love you more than anything and I'm so proud x x”

Earlier this week, Eoghan McDermott revealed that he and his friends made a photo collage for Niall’s big birthday.

“We've decided to give him a big photo collage, because realistically there are not many presents you could buy him - when in a band like that there's little he wouldn't have already,” he said.
