Singer and musician Gustavo Cerati has passed away today at the age of 55 after remaining in a deep coma for more than four years.
The former leader of Soda Stereo had suffered a stroke back in May, 2010, after offering a concert in Venezuela. He remained hospitalized at ALCLA institute in Nuñez neighbourhood.
He suffered a cardiac arrest this morning, according to an official statement realeased by the hospital and posted on Cerati's official Fan Page in Facebook. The statement added a wake will be held as of 9 pm at the City's Legislature.
