And Zoe Saldana said she still has a 'huge amount of respect for Britney Spears' while appearing on Thursday's episode of Watch What Happens Live.
'She was the one big, big celebrity that I met when I was starting to work in Hollywood who literally was humble,' the expecting 36-year-old told host Andy Cohen.
'I do believe that people and children gravitate to good energy, and she's definitely an abundance of that.'
The 2002 comedy - penned by Shonda Rhimes (Scandal, Grey's Anatomy) - grossed $61.1 million worldwide despite mostly negative reviews. The 32-year-old pop diva's name was brought up when a caller asked Zoe what she thought of the recent leaked version of her 2013 song Alien sans auto-tune.
'That's mean,' Zoe said of the leak. 'I'm pretty sure that 80 percent of our musical artists would be mortified if they were caught singing without auto-tune.'
The Rosemary's Baby starlet added: 'She was the only pop star at that time - and I can name a lot of prominent figures right now that today are more famous than Britney - that literally got to where they were at by hating on Britney a lot. Because it was cool at one time to really just diss her. And Britney never did that.'
Saldana - born Nazario - has not yet seen the Grammy winner's Las Vegas act, which is reportedly lip-synced.
The former Mousketeer is set to earn $30 million for her 100-minute show featuring 21 songs, a four-piece band, and 14 backup dancers.
The Britney: Piece of Me concert will resume August 15 at the PH Live Auditorium in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, Zoe plays green-skinned superhero Gamora - the last of the Zen Whoberi species - in Guardians of the Galaxy.
The Marvel Studios' space adventure - in theatres now - also features her ex-boyfriend Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, and Dave Bautista.
The Star Trek stunner and her Italian artist husband Marco Perego are rumoured to be expecting twins.
