Madonna wants her lovely offspring Lourdes to be the next best superstar!

Madonna thinks her daughter Lourdes has what it takes to be the next big star.

The pop icon has her 17-year-old daughter with her ex-partner Carlos Leon. Lourdes has been attending the prestigious LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City and has now graduated, with her mom apparently sure she has what it takes to follow in her footsteps.

"Madonna has always been an incredibly strict mother at home, but now Lourdes has finished high school Madonna's already plotting for her to follow in her footsteps and become a pop star," an insider told Best magazine.

Lourdes has already dipped her toe into the showbiz pond having created a clothing line with her mother called Material Girl. She's also been on tour with Madonna in the past, with the singer showing her the ropes even more as she's got older.

"She has been learning from the best, and since she graduated has been accompanying Madonna to the studio and taking everything in," the source said.

"At one point Madonna was even thinking of retiring and letting her daughter take over. But she decided Lourdes has to prove herself, to see if she really has got what it takes to compete in the pop world."

Last year, Lourdes blogged about her experiences on tour with her mother. She worked with Madonna during her MDNA series of shows, helping in the wardrobe department after realising that she wanted a summer job just like her friends.

"Being in the wardrobe department meant me and a few other girls dressed the dancers during the show when they had quick changes," she said.

"Thirty seconds to totally dress a sweaty dancer can be insane and provoke mucho anxiety. Doing this night after night was pretty cray, but I loved every minute of it."

Madonna darling, your timing was a little off.

She has long been hailed the queen of media manipulation, but Madonna, along with so many other celebrities over the past few days, has made what can only be described as an epic fail.

Two days after the world was violently jolted by the Malaysia Airlines disaster, Madonna and her brood of children, a party numbering six in total, boarded a flight from New York to London.

According to reports, the pop star sat herself in first class while her entourage slummed it down in business class, which for anyone who has bravely tried to cross the curtain will know, are heavily guarded and very separate territories aboard any aircraft.

According to reports in Britain's The Sun, another passenger told the paper: "Madonna took everyone by surprise when she waltzed down the aisle to talk to her kids during the safety demonstration.

“Everyone was sat down just before take-off listening to the emergency exits information. Members of the cabin crew immediately told her she needed to go back and sit down but she wouldn’t listen.

“Instead, she ventured further back into business class to visit her kids who were sitting there.

“The other passengers seemed amused at what was going on because she was just ignoring everyone’s pleas and did what she wanted.
“The air hostesses were getting quite annoyed with her but Madonna didn’t seem to notice them and just carried on chatting until the plane was about to take off.”

Madonna is a woman who is meant to know all about how important timing is, so it beggars belief that she would behave in such a manner given how anxious air travellers have been since the brutal destruction of a passenger jet over the Ukraine,
Madonna darling, even you are not THAT important.

But Madonna has not been alone. PS was chided by Geoffrey Edelsten's bride-to-be Gabi Grecko after suggesting she refrain from her relentless self promotion on Twitter, complete with bikini photos and banal commentary. Grecko was busily uploading just hours after news of the MH17 disaster was filling the Twittersphere.

But compared to Madonna, Grecko is a newbie to the fame game - unlike Elle Macpherson.
The Body - or at least one of her many minions - was busy uploading shots of herself downing her "Elixir" supplements on social media just as the MH17 carnage was filling people's timelines. While unintentional, it certainly left a sour taste in PS's mouth.
The lesson in all of this: every now and then the real world will come crashing into the world of celebrity and the best thing stars can do is sit back, take stock and remember they may well be living in a bubble, but it's a bubble that is easily burst.
