Hayley Atwell calls "The Other Woman" a ‘depressingly shameful’ film on Twitter

It seems Hayley Atwell falls into the category of celebrity tweeters who certainly don't mince their 140 characters.

The British actress took to Twitter to slate The Other Woman, the recent romantic comedy starring Leslie Mann, Cameron Diaz and Kate Upton.

Writing on Monday, Hayley, 32, didn’t pull her punches: ‘Had to turn off the depressingly shameful The Other Woman movie tonight.’

Her ridicule continued: ‘Slap stick? Couldn't be less funny if you slapped it with a stick.’

Luckily for Hayley, Tuesday night’s entertainment proved to be much more enjoyable as she attended a cocktail party held in honour of Serbian artist Marina Abramovic at the illy store on Regent Street.

The actress, who stars opposite Andre 3000 in the new Jimi Hendrix biopic, looked pretty in blue skinny jeans, a black vest, floral cropped shirt and tan heels with a black Mulberry handbag.

Hayley barely needed any make-up to enhance her fresh-face and wore her brunette locks in a deep side-parting.

She’s been upping her fitness over the last few months as she prepares to bring Agent Peggy Carter to the small screen in her own spin-off series.

Marvel's Agent Carter sees Hayley reprise her role from Captain America: The First Avenger and the one-shot short film of the same name.

Set in 1946, the series follows the British agent as she tries to balance her work for the Strategic Scientific Reserve while moonlighting on secret missions with Howard Stark.

British star Dominic Cooper has also signed on the fill the shoes once more of the father of Tony Stark (AKA Iron Man).

The first series is set to debut in January 2015 during the season 2 mid-season break of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Filming is expected begin this September.
