1. Wildstar Review

I'm still inching my way toward Wildstar's current level 50 cap after dozens of hours of play, and I've only experienced a mere fraction of what's available in the game. This is almost always true for MMOs, but Wildstar manages that sense of an unending sea of content without much of it feeling like unnecessary padding. I've done a lot of this before, but here I can do it faster, more polished and with more expected of me. That's enough to keep me happy for now.

2. Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark Review

Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is awash in so much borrowed content, so many poorly executed examples of copy-and-paste design from its predecessors, that I can't help but wonder what happened. My best guess? A lack of time. Regardless, Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark is a colossal failure, serving only as a reminder of how much better its predecessors were.

3. Bioshock Infinite: Vita would have been Turn Based

Ken Levine still wishes that he could do a BioShock game on the PlayStation Vita, according to a series of recent tweets from the game designer, outlining that he envisioned a Final Fantasy Tactics-style game set in pre-fall Rapture.

Levine tweeted that Sony and developer Irrational Games' parent publisher 2K Games couldn't put a deal together when he "last checked" and that the two companies "seemed way more optimistic about this back in 2011." He added that he wished he could undertake the project himself "but lawyers and all that. I still love my Vita."

4. Driveclub PS4 Pack Revealed

The bundle is set to release alongside the game later this year in October, with European pricing set for €439.99. We're still trying to track down whether the bundle is confirmed for North America.

Anyone keen to pick it up will receive a PlayStation 4 console, DualShock 4 controller and a copy of the full Driveclub game, rather than just the PS Plus Edition.

5. Maxis Explains Absence of Toddlers and Pools in Sims 4

"The fact is, we owe you a clearer explanation for why pools and toddlers will not be in The Sims 4 at launch," executive producer Rachel Franklin starts. "It begins with new technology and systems that we built for this new base game for The Sims - a new AI system, new animation system, new audio positioning tools, new locomotion logic, new routing intelligence and much more are all entirely new in this game.

6. Wolf Among Us Episode 5 Review

The Wolf Among Us Episode 5: Cry Wolf is a wonderful cap to Telltale’s season. It made me not only want to replay the episode to see various outcomes, but the entire series to see if I had missed any clues planted early on. The writing is great, the action is satisfying, and living with the consequences of my decisions is fantastically powerful. Simply put, The Wolf Among Us’ finale provides some of the finest storytelling I’ve played in a long time.

7. Pokemon X/Y Players can get Free Limited Edition Vivillon Now

A whopping 100 million Pokémon have been traded through the Global Trade Station since its launch, hence the previously announced giveaway of this bug/flying-type Pokémon. Vivillon--which is basically a butterfly--is a popular Pokémon for trading because it has a number of different wing patterns depending on the real-world location its owner resides in. For this giveaway, the special "Fancy Pattern Vivillon" you see above is being made available to fans for a limited time. It even comes equipped with an exclusive move, Hold Hands, which has no effect beyond showing a brief embrace between Vivillon and the move's target. (Hey, at least it's not Splash.)
