Kanye West has slammed the media after he was reportedly booed during his headline shows at the Wireless Festival this weekend.
According to the Birmingham Mail, Yeezus received a warm reception on his final night headlining the event (Sunday, July 6) - but later ranted about the negative response from the crowd when taking to the stage in London.
The newspaper quotes the rapper as saying that the media "twist everything", with Kanye apparently adding: "It doesn't matter what I say, from the top of my mind to the bottom of my heart there is nothing they can do to stop me.
"The media wrote that people booed and you know what, I'm not going to lie, I'm not invincible."
He added: "It hurt me a little bit because I knew how much of a good time that everyone had. I'm sorry that I'm not a complete belligerent a***hole that I normally am, but I will be back."
The Bound 2 hitmaker stepped in for Drake on one of the night's at the festival after Drizzy was forced to scrap his set due to illness.
The Young Money star later took to Instagram to show his appreciation to West for filling in for him, writing: "Man I appreciate Kanye playing Trophies at Wireless so much. I want to be at all the shows more than anything in the world right now.
"I just keep watching the video over and over. Slow motion for me right now but I promise all the fans an incredible experience as soon as I am back. I am so sorry once again I love you all dearly. Thank you Ye for giving me that joy tonight."
