Is This The Scariest Short Film Ever?

David F. Sandberg won Best Director Bloody Cuts Horror Challenge 2013 competition for 'Lights Out,' in which a woman turns off the hallway lights before going to bed. But the simple task takes a scary turn when a mysterious silhouette appears in the darkness.

The Web is going wild for a minimalistic 2 minute, 42 second film that viewers say guarantees bedroom lights will be left on for good. The Vimeo account has over 6.2 million views.

Swedish film maker David F. Sandberg released the dialogue-free clip, starring Lotta Losten, last year, for the "Who's There?" - Bloody Cuts Horror Challenge 2013 competition.
