Download New U2 song for Free

While U2 makes headlines for its Academy Award-nominated (and Golden Globe-winning) contribution to the "Mandela" biopic in the form of "Ordinary Love," the band has made another one of its new songs available for download.

"Invisible" is currently available for free download on iTunes. The Danger Mouse-produced song's release coincides with the band's partnership with (RED), through which Bank of America will donate $1 for every song downloaded to the Global Fund, which works to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria and was co-founded by U2 frontman Bono.

The song will be available on iTunes through 11:59 p.m. Monday (Feb. 3), at which point it will be taken off the service.

A video for "Invisible" was shot by Mark Romanek (Johnny Cash's "Hurt," Nine Inch Nails' "Closer"). A 60-second clip of the to-be-released video will be shown during tonight's Super Bowl and can be found below.

Bono explained to USA Today that the song is not the first single from the band's upcoming 13th studio album, which is expected sometime this year."We have another song we're excited about to kick off the album," he said. "This is just sort of a sneak preview -- to remind people we exist."
