Somewhere amid broken molds, overstuffed makeup cases, and stressed out contestants vying to win Spotlight Challenges, love blossomed on the set of Syfy's "Face Off." Host McKenzie Westmore announced that she's engaged to guest judge Patrick Tatopoulos.
The 36-year-old blonde shared the good news on Facebook early Tuesday morning, posting this photo of them together in front of a Christmas tree.
She listed the update as the life event "got engaged."
Congratulations quickly poured in, but there were just as many posts that started with the word: "What?" Fans of the show seemed to be clueless that a behind-the-scenes love match was made — though the pair has appeared on the red carpet together several times over the last two years.
Westmore, who starred on the soap opera "Passions," kept up with all the commenters and even replied, "Thank you everyone so much!! XO."
This will be the former actress's second time down the aisle. She was previously married to musician Seven Williams with whom she has a 7-year-old son, Maddox.
Tatopoulos, a French-Greek production designer who has worked on films including "Total Recall," "Independence Day," and "Underworld: Evolution," appeared as a judge on the first two seasons of the reality show. He then left to focus on his day job, but returns each season as a special guest judge.
Making it a true family affair, Westmore's father, Michael, appears on the show as well. He's an Academy Award-winning makeup artist and serves as a mentor to contestants.
