Mariah Carey was definitely feeling more naughty than nice on Tuesday. The singer wriggled into two very festive and very racy dresses to perform at the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony in New York. The 43-year-old showed off her ample cleavage each time, first of all in a red sweetheart cut dress that hugged her curvaceous figure in all the right places.
Mariah also wore a white furry shawl that added to the Christmassy feel of her look, and slipped on black leather opera gloves to make her ensemble even sexier. Diamantes featured on the star's dress and she had a sparkling microphone and stand to match, as well as a pair of jewelled earrings.
It's likely that Mariah belted out her hit song All I Want For Christmas Is You as the cameras rolled during her performance, which will air on NBC on Wednesday. Mariah sang in front of a group of young dancers dressed as elves, while a choir stood behind them and acted as the diva's back-up singers.
She then changed into a white fishtail gown which was covered in silver beads that caught the light as she performed. Mariah wore a pair of white opera gloves that almost reached her shoulders, and she also sported a diamond bracelet and dramatic earrings to match. She appeared to be singing a ballad, and was stood in front of a white Christmas tree decorated with fairy lights.
This is the 81st annual Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting ceremony, and Mariah performed at the event in 2010 and 2012. The Against All Odds hit-maker is one of a host of stars taking part in the festivities this year. There's definitely something for everyone's music taste with Kelly Clarkson, Goo Goo Dolls and Jewel all lined up to perform.
Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton and Ariana Grande will also be singing at the event, which will be broadcast live, aside from it seems Mariah's performance, and that of Braxton and Babyface, who were seen taping today. Last week Mariah enjoyed a relaxed Thanksgiving Day with her husband Nick Cannon, and twins Moroccan and Monroe.
