Britney (finally) uploads her Xmas classic, 'My Only Wish', on VEVO. Merry Britmas, y'all!

Pop singer Britney Spears uploaded her Christmas classic "My Only Wish (This Year)" to VEVO on Tuesday morning. It seems like she wants to throw her Santa hat into the holiday music ring this season.

Following recent holiday releases like Kelly Clarkson's "Underneath The Tree," Spears unexpectedly uploaded her own Christmas track "My Only Wish (This Year)" to VEVO. She originally released the song in 2000 on a compilation album which also featured her peers at the time like Backstreet Boys and Christina Aguilera. The "My Only Wish" upload was probably done to officially release it to YouTube/VEVO.

While Britney's pop peers were pushing out full Christmas albums during the '90s, Spears instead opted to release one holiday track. And one was definitely enough when she released the festive pop jam, “My Only Wish (This Year).” Over a bouncing beat and jolly piano, Spears pleas with Santa to bring her a boyfriend this Christmas. It's a lesser known gem in the singer's catalog that always reemerges during the holiday season.

"My Only Wish (This Year)" is currently available on iTunes. For Spears' more recent work, check out her aggressive EDM track "Work B**ch." She will release her eighth studio album, "Britney Jean," on December 3. lol

fingers crossed this outperforms RIP Bitch lmao.
