Thor: The Dark World' is set to be the shortest Marvel film yet, with a total running time of 111 minutes and 53 seconds.
The information comes from the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) in a recent update to the film's page on their site in which they also confirmed a 12A certificate.
'Game of Thrones' man Alan Taylor's feature film debut as director was expected to be closer to two hours given the epic nature of his sci-fi fantasy.
That said, the length of a film is no guarantee of quality or a lack thereof, so it's probably best to ignore any reaction to this news that isn't "Okay then."
The BBFC cite "moderate fantasy violence" as the reasoning for their 12A ruling.
