Katie Holmes has landed a major new role - as the face of Hellmann's Mayonnaise's 100th birthday celebrations.
The Batman Begins actress celebrated a century of the popular egg-based condiment at a party in New York. Holmes smiled for the cameras as she posed next to a cake modeled on a jar of mayonnaise at the 'Feeding America' event on Pier 84.
"I love food. I'm working on being a better cook," she told USA Today. "I flourish at pancakes. I do sea bass, too. Every little thing I do, I take a thousand pictures and send them to my older siblings. 'See, I can do it, too'."
The party also saw Hellmann's break the Guinness World Record for longest picnic table ever created. Over 400 people sat at the 320ft table, which was decorated with flowers in empty Hellmann's bottles, as they enjoyed treats including chocolate mayonnaise cupcakes.
Holmes was recently forced to deny rumors that she is dating Jamie Foxx. The actress ended her five-year marriage to Tom Cruise in June 2012.
I admit it. I love mayonnaise.
