He's one of the most famous singers in the world.
But One Direction star Harry Styles opted to take the tube as he headed to Sir Elton John's gig at the iTunes Festival on Thursday night.
Instead of travelling in a chauffeur-driven car or limousine, Harry attempted to blend in the crowd on the Northern Line train, keeping his head down as he checked his phone.
And while Harry's pop star status would surely have earned him a priority seat on the train, he instead chose to stand, leaning on the side of the carriage as he journeyed to The Roundhouse in north London for the performance.
The 18-year-old dressed down in a white T-shirt, black coat and brown boots for the evening out, pairing his casual ensemble with his ever-present beanie hat.
Harry even got a shout out from the legendary 66-year-old singer, who told the audience: 'Thanks to the fabulous Harry Styles!' as he took a break in between songs.
But when his comment was met with a series of the boos from the crowd, Sir Elton responded: 'I love One Direction, f*** off.'
After watching the show, Harry was seen posing up with a delighted-looking Sir Elton backstage following the performance.
One Direction hunk Liam Payne has hit out at those fans who have sent new girlfriend Sophia Smith abuse on Twitter, revealing he worries she might read some of the comments directed at her and insisting that she doesn't deserve such attacks.
The 20-year-old went public with the new romance last month at a press conference for One Direction's movie This Is Us. As ever with the 1D lads, fans didn't react well to news Payne was off the market and the pretty brunette came in for a torrent of abuse.
Taking to Twitter today protective boyfriend Liam discussed with fans why the abuse upset him so much. He said: "People can say what they like I couldn't give a rats a*s about it anymore... :)"
Going on to admit he sometimes searches her name just to see what fans are saying, he explained: "I do it lots cuz I worry she might read it... in the end she's just a girl like u sat reading twitter on her phone."
Adding to another: "She doesn't deserve to sit and read all that who does?"
When a fan feared the abuse had made Liam "hate" his fans, he reassured them that it was just "strange horrible people". He wrote: "I don't hate anyone babe :) well... Just strange horrid people aha"
Earlier this week the stud was spotted at Heathrow airport with his brunette girlfriend with the couple jetting off to Nice in the Cote D'Azur.
No doubt Liam, who will be heading to Australia later this month to kick off the next leg of One Direction's Take Me Home world tour, wanted to spend some quality time with his new girlfriend before they're separated.
