The woman was seen crying and appeared to be visibly shaken after they were discovered on the ride and finally allowed out of one of its pods.
The Crazy In Love singer hopped onto the ride while filming her latest music video at New York's famous Coney Island amusement park.
For part of the video, the 31-year-old decided to take a spin on the Wonder Wheel with photographer Terry Richardson.
But it seems that operators neglected to realise that a couple were still on the ride when Beyoncé and her crew hopped on it.
The star had her make-up touched up before setting off, and it was half an hour before anyone realised two people were stuck, according to Splash News.
When they finally made it back down, the couple were visibly shaken.
The woman involved was seen in tears as she stepped out of her pod and she and her companion hurried off.
It seems Beyoncé was unaware of the events unfolding as she continued her tour of Coney Island.
The Halo singer made sure to have a go on all of the most famous rides including Cyclone, the wooden rollercoaster, the Spook-a-Rama ghost train and the Eldorado bumper cars.
She debuted a new blonde bob at V Festival just last weekend, but was seen showing off longer, curlier hair.
While on the rollercoaster Bey made sure that her new, longer locks were held tight by a baseball cap emblazoned with an image of the late rapper The Notorious B.I.G.
Completing her hip-hop look, the Bow Down singer wore an abundance of chunky gold accessories and a baggy white vest top with a black lace bra showing underneath.
She finished off her ensemble with a pair of tight-fitting denim jeans, showing off her toned legs and a pair of high-heeled platform boots.
The star was also joined at the park by models Jourdan Dunn and Jessica White, who it seems will be appearing in the video with her.
