New daddy Kanye West has hit back over the comments Barack Obama made over him and current girlfriend Kim Kardashian. Although still big fans of the President, the rapper allegedly isn’t too thrilled with the recent criticism.
Last week, Obama discussed the public’s obsession with the celebrity couple.. He talked about the "shift in culture" and said in the past, "Kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing or where Kanye West was going on vacation and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success."
The ‘Black Skinhead’ singer has now reportedly spoken out about the remarks to his friends.
“Kanye heard what the president said and he wasn’t too thrilled about it,” a source close to the rapper told HollywoodLife.com. “He was just like, ‘Whoa, even Obama taking shots at me"
While Kimye, both “like and respect” Barack, the comments won’t change their lifestyle, the insider claims.
“Ain’t like what Obama said is going to change anything,” the source continued. “It ain’t going to change how he and Kim live their lives. It’s not about to change how much money they make. It’s not going to change anything, not even how the fans think.”
According to sources Kanye reckons he and President Obama have one thing in common — and that is to make history.
“Everybody know Kanye don’t care s**t about being famous — he hates it,” the insider added. “All he’s trying to do is inspire people through his music and go down in history as one of the greatest artist who ever held the mic. Same as Obama is trying to do as president — leave a legacy behind.”
Earlier this week, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner slammed the remarks and said her daughter is very “hardworking”.
