Melissa Gorga supports sister-in-law Teresa Giudice amid fraud charges

Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga are bonding again.

Melissa Gorga has her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice’s back.

Although the two “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars were once rivals, they have now seemingly mended ways to become a family again.

While Teresa, 41, and her husband Joe Giudice face some stiff sanctions for bank and bankruptcy fraud -- up to 50 years behind bars for 39 counts of fraud -- Melissa, 34, and her husband Joe Gorga have stepped up to support them.

Melissa Gorga says, ‘I’ve reached out and spoke to Teresa.’

“I’ve reached out and spoke to Teresa,” she told Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live” Sunday. “She knows I have her back, and that the kids, of course, are the No. 1 priority, and you know, that’s what Joe and I are always here for … no matter what.”

The renewed family bonds are essential at times like these when the Giudice’s await an Aug. 14 court date after being indicted July 30 and posting $500,000 bail each for their release.

Combined, the Gorgas and Giudices have seven children -- Teresa and Joe have four daughters, Gia, 12, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 7, and Audriana, 3, and Melissa and Joe have three children, Antonia, 7, Gino, 5 and Joey, 3 -- making it all the more important to stay away from past drama and continue being a strong family.

Melissa Gorga, Joe Gorga and Teresa Giudice are family facing trouble together.

“We are better together,” the “On Display” singer said. “It’s just more fun, it’s better, it’s easy. We have a lot in common, as much as we don’t have in common. We just have a good time together.”

“That’s the most important part," she added. "My husband has one sister.”
