‘Fringe’ leading lady to star in lesbian drama from Ryan Murphy

After the 100th episode of 'Fringe' last January, Anna Torv (centre) will return to the tube as Windsor, a lesbian yoga instructor.


LOS ANGELES, Aug 1 — Anna Torv, aka Olivia Dunham of Fox show “Fringe,” is slated to star in a new pilot as a lesbian yoga instructor.

Her character is in a relationship with Holly, a career-driven actress played by Jennifer Jason Leigh (“Weeds”, “Revenge”), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The latest project from Ryan Murphy (“Nip/Tuck”, “Glee”), “Open” is in pre-production, and the pilot is expected to air on HBO next April.

The show will tackle the complexities of human relationships by exploring themes of sexuality, monogamy and intimacy.

Actors Scott Speedman (“Last Resort”, “Underworld”) and Wes Bentley (“The Hunger Games”, “Ghost Rider”) are also on track to take part in the “Open” pilot. – AFP-Relaxnews
