Despite the music video for We Can't Stop practically scandalising our mums into an early grave and her comments about getting a picture of Chris Brown tattooed onto her face made our dads grumble on about the 'youth of today', Miley Cyrus is continuing on in her quest for ultimate badass-ness (op: just, no).
And what's Miles' next move for her edgy image re-vamp? Why, it's having a go at rapping - which for some reason doesn't even sound that strange to us anymore. GAH.
Yep, apparently so much has happened with Miley 2.0 with all that twerking and bare midriff that the idea of her letting her inner Eminem loose hardly even registers on our surprised scale. And we're very easily shocked.
Mike WiLL Made It, producer of We Can't Stop, spoke to Life & Times about Miley's newest musical venture, saying: "I'm about to put out the next single within the next month... It's called 23 and it features Miley, Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa."
Well, there's a combination of people that look very weird together in our minds. But it doesn't seem as though Miles' is too intimidated by the likes of Mr. J or Mr. Khalifa's rhyme spitting skills because she's ditched the singing for Mike's single 23 and is "kind of rapping to it" according to the producer.
Whatever it is she'll be rapping about, we're unsure. And even though we're hoping for a grittier take on Party in the USA, complete with scathing attack on cardigans, we have a feeling we'll be out of luck.
While Mike's promised 'something different' with his new record (which is out at the end of August) we're certain Miley's rap will definitely involve some saucy lyrics that'll have us dancing around like nobodies business.
but is ontd ready tho
