Zedd's 'Clarity' featuring Foxes makes moves to the mainstream

EDM producer Zedd is making moves on Billboard's Hot 100 with his single, “Clarity,” featuring British singer-songwriter Foxes. The explosive track reached no. 77 on the tally this week, according to the music chart company on Friday.

Zedd is already a big name in the EDM community, but “Clarity” is shaping up to be a mainstream hit for the Russian-German artist. “Clarity” and previous single “Spectrum,” featuring Matthew Koma, hit the top spot on Billboard's dance chart last year and now the former is rising on the all-genre Hot 100. In its third week on the chart, Zedd and Foxes continue to move upward, sitting at no. 77 this week.

The music video for “Clarity” was released in January and has already garnered over six million views on YouTube. In the colorful clip, indie artist Foxes finds herself in the push and pull of a tumultuous relationship while Zedd's progressive house tune plays on. Last year's “American Idol” runner-up, Jessica Sanchez, will reportedly cover the track on next month's season finale “Glee.” That will surely introduce “Clarity” to an even bigger audience.
