its a scheme. the person running the kickstarter has embezzled it into a personal account of theirs. dont say i didnt warn you. there're still going to make the movie, but that person is going to have nice fat wallets at the cost of desperate vmars fans

im a vmars fans. i just want to get the truth out. there was a guy pretending to be depressed and in need of money and used a kickstarter and faked it out, people donated, then he had the nerve to say it was an experiment on mental illness. he said he never had depression and stated those with depression fake it then they actually become depressed. caused lots of controversy. hes a comedian. i forgot his name but people were upset at the joke, while others thought it was a good experiment. but i digress, peoples money have been stolen? sure its not a maddoff but still pretty disappointing.

I can think of a few better ways to spend 5.7 million dollars. Lilo's defense budget, for one.

Those last seconds were crazy, there were still a lot of people pledging. I can't wait to get my merch and to get updates about the production of the movie now!

I really wanted to ask my parents and friends to give me the SDCC VIP package as a birthday gift, but I knew I couldn't afford plane tickets and lodging so I gave up on that. :(

Well you're not getting your merch until next year, so we'll just have to be happy with updates for now.

I know, I was so excited about it and then I checked the Kickstarter page and saw that I'm only getting my merch on March 2014. Oh well, I really shouldn't be complaining about this tbh.

Can't wait until we get some behind the scenes photos and stuff!!!!!

I was so tempted to change my pledge from $75 to $200 for the signed poster but I just can't justify that. Was also pretty tempted when I saw one $150 Logan Lovers package (dirty) made available again, but yeah, couldn't justify it. I'm happy with my poster, shirt and dvd copy.

I was going to do the same thing but eh.

I wish I could have donated money but I'm so happy that there are a lot more VM fans out there. I don't think I know any in real life.

I always look forward to it at the beginning credits. (minus season 3. wtf was that remix.)

I really liked the S3 remix. Maybe not as a song I would listen to on it's own, but I thought it sounded more like a VM theme song than the original did. I also really liked the visual so that could have something to do with it too.
