Yea, this shit is just getting way too real for me. These episodes just give me too much anxiety. I'm glad its the last season tbh. This show is just too emotionally draining for me now.
I don't know where all these Crixtus is just following Naevia around comments are coming from. I feel like he would have turn on Spartacus sooner or later anyways because him and Spartacus barely agreed on anything in the first place. Also he was an asshole to the slaves when he was on top though Spartacus wasn't (When he took Crixtus spot), so Crixtus would have turned on him sooner or later.
I love Gannicus for real but you guys are like... lets be real, Naevia was tortured and raped. It's understandable why she is losing her mind, not only was she taught how to defend herself but she also knows the power of control and I am sure she's just killing them before they kill her thought process. Do I hate her? hell to the fucking no and some of you people are seriously leaving ship when Naevia probably needs the most help out of all of them tbh. She's probably going to die but all the happiness thats gonna come out from it from this fandom is actually going to turn my stomach more than anything.
Well said. I think Naevia's arc and struggle is being lost on these people. Honestly if you see some of the commentary, one (not on here) commentator wished for Naevia to be raped by Gannicus... Like seriously? I personally intend to stay away from forums where Narvia is being discussed because people are being rational at all.
I know why people are ignoring it, it's because she's not some white girl who isn't weeping over the fact that she was raped. Also she goes against and hurts the pretty white men that all these girls fawn over.
Like wtf Gannicus wouldn't even bother to do that, it's so stupid and ridiculous, like know your characters and their struggles and everyone wants to ignore Naevia's and act like they are in the 20th century or some shit.
I even tweet to Steven about it and he pretty much agreed about the confusion of the hatred on Naevie.
And finally enjoying the roman side again, they've been a bit blaaah so far this season, but this ep turned me around a bit.
Do not get Agron and his bitchy jealousy for nothing. Rather annoying, love him being all protector of Spartacus though.
And my bet still stands: Spartacus will fuck the roman woman before the season final. And then she will give birth to his child after they're all dead and he will grow up to fight the Romans from the inside.
OMG this show is giving me all those conflicting feels idek what to do with myself! Even while watching the episode there were moments where I just wanted to jump up and run around and tear at my hair because aölsdkjföalksdjf.
Also, Crixus and Naevia have never been my favorites and I've always loved Gannicus way more but I love how the show is written that you can kind of understand where all the characters are coming from. I can't truly hate any of them (except Nemetes because omg at Swaebia or whatever her name was).
And historically I knew that Crixus and Spartacus would have to split up before long and they've set it up quite well. Also, the decimation stuff which is historically correct. For a moment I thought Tiberius might actually bite it since he didn't exist irl. I can't even hate Crassus because he's such an awesome villain. Caesar is growing on me, he's definitely more cunning and also compassionate than I'd originally thought.
I thought this show retired?! I'm so confused. I just started watching last month and got as far as Spartacus escaping. Is this the season that follows that part of the story? I loved Lucy Lawless' character and her husband's. That was a good story. Is it worth it with the new characters? It has to be a good story, cuz I can barely tolerate the graphic violence.
The second season is a prequel so Lucy and her husband are in it. The prequel is only 6 episodes and I really liked it. Then Spartacus Vengeance is the season that picks up with SPartacus having escaped. Then this season, Spartacus War of the Damned, is the final season. I thought all the seasons were great and worth watching. I hope this helped/made sense.
Crixus can go.
