Will Tarantino's Next Project Be A WWII Film Following Vengeful Black Troops Who Go 'Apesh*t'?

Yes folks. It's definitely Quentin Tarantino week here on S & A (and ONTD - op), but then again, who else has the most talked about and discusssed film at the moment?

But if you think Django Unchained is controversial, then you ain't seen nothing yet.

In an interview with The Root, Tarantino talks about what may possibly be his next film project, dealing with black troops in France during World War II in 1944, after the D-Day invasion.

He called it Killing Crow, saying that it was to be part of a trilogy that would've included Inglorious Basterds.

In the interview when questioned about the project he said:

"I don't know exactly when I'm going to do it, but there's something about this that would suggest a trilogy. My original idea for Inglourious Basterds way back when was that this [would be] a huge story that included the [smaller] story that you saw in the film, but also followed a bunch of black troops, and they had been fucked over by the American military and kind of go apeshit. They basically -- the way Lt. Aldo Raines (Brad Pitt) and the Basterds are having an "Apache resistance" -- [the] black troops go on an Apache warpath and kill a bunch of white soldiers and white officers on a military base and are just making a warpath to Switzerland."

He goes on to say that:

"That would be the third of the trilogy. It would be connected to Inglorious Basterds too because Inglorious Basterds are in it, but is about the soldiers. It would be called "Killer Crow" or something like that."

According to Tarantino he has most of the script written already.

I can't help myself to ask, what Spike Lee would say about this...

Backing up the money truck and coming back for round 2.
