She has countless fans now, but as a teen in Tampa, Florida, Brittany Snow felt completely alone. "In high school there was a girl who made my life miserable," the Pitch Perfect star says. "She and her friends bullied me, emotionally and physically." Devastated after a series of teen suicides, the 26-year-old founded Love Is Louder ( with the Jed Foundation and MTV in 2010. Explains Snow, "It's a safe place to share about feeling different or being mistreated."

BIG RESULTS. Two years later, the campaign has more than 100,000 supporters and celebrity contributors such as P!nk, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato posting videos, photos and encouraging words to the online community. But it took only one student for the actress to realize her campaign was making a difference. " After I spoke at a school, a girl quietly handed me a piece of paper... it said that Love Is Louder saved her life. I hung the note in my room and read it every day."
