As soon as Dr. Oliver said "I never was here" I knew he was the butcher. Plus RM said there was a really horrible scene between him and Lana so that just clicked. Or maybe he was talking about next week since they're still interacting.

I wish the alien stuff wasn't included at all. It just doesn't fit with the rest of what's going on.

The scene he was talking about was the aversion therapy scene from last week.

Yea maybe I'm missing a connection but the aliens still seem completely random

I agree with the other person that said it was the aversion therapy scene. That was so horrible, I couldn't watch.

I'm choosing to believe that while Sister Mary Eunice and Dr. Arden are forces of evil at work, the aliens might be the contrasting, benevolent force. Satan from below, aliens from above. *shrug*
