Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield Get Creative in NYC

Using their celebrity status to promote a good cause, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield got creative after their New York City lunch date on Saturday (September 15).

After the couple realized that paparazzi was waiting for them outside, they created signs in which they held over their faces to send a message.

The signs read: "We just found out that there were paparazzi outside the restaurant we were eating in. So... why not take this opportunity to bring attention to organizations that need and deserve it," followed by links to two charity websites, wwo.org and gildasclubnyc.org.

In related news, the 23-year-old recently supported another good cause that is extremely close to her heart. Miss Stone took time to pose with her mother Krista in honor of breast cancer awareness.

Emma's mother survived cancer after being diagnosed in 2008. When discussing the hard time, "The Help" star told USA Today, "She still has surgeries to go, and that time period is always kind of present still. So doing that [photo shoot] was just—she's here. We're here together as mother and daughter. It was hugely emotional, and I think everyone on set knew that and was hugely supportive of that."
