Joe Jonas (and, oh, yeah, Nelly was there, too) shot an interview for "Extra" today at The Grove in Los Angeles, to promote their new CW series The Next: Fame is at Your Doorstep. They talked about the show a bit until Joe was finally quizzed on Nick's American Idol gig ("I can't say anything about that") and the upcoming Jonas Brothers album, which he confirmed is still in the works. He said they're in the studio, still recording, but that new music should be coming soon. There were no questions regarding a follow-up to the 2011 smash debut solo album Fastlife. There was, however, an awkward segue in which Joe attempted to turn the attention away from the untitled, unscheduled JB album and plug Nelly's seventh studio album. Again, nobody was there for that.
Afterwards, Joe signed autographs -- a girl handed him a Jonas L.A. soundtrack and he replied, "You actually have this?!" -- and posed for a few photos, before being swept away into Nordstrom. A mob of girls flooded the store, which was barricaded for about thirty seconds, in search of Joe Jonas. Tears were shed.
