Comedian Robin Williams took pot shots at Britney Spears recently. His comments had to do with Spears's fiancé, Jason Trawick, being assigned as his future wife's co-conservator.
Robin just got married himself. His bride is Susan Schneider, a graphic designer. The funnyman is also starring in a new movie that deals with wedlock -- The Big Wedding. So it seems the caustic comedy man has something to say about all things matrimonial. That includes Spears's engagement and monetary situation.
Williams likened Trawick's role as Brit's co-conservator as to "having your dealer as your therapist". While that's a bit harsh, Robin isn't the only person raising eyebrows over the court's decision to allow Spears's fiancé to split conservatorship duties with Britney's father Jamie.
Some think a better analogy might be putting the fox inside the henhouse. While Jason won't have control over Brit's estate, he can tell her how she can or can't spend her "allowance" since he controls her day-to-day affairs.
The situation is strange to say the least. Robin merely stated what some people are thinking. Still, he'd better hope he doesn't need anything from Britney Spears in the near future. His remarks are still stinging.
wut? so random.
