Earlier this year I wondered whether it was finally the season when one or more of the CSI's would be canceled. Now I'm certain one will be canceled.
With A Gifted Man and Unforgettable headed towards cancellation, CBS is certain to cancel one more drama to make room on next Fall's schedule. It will be one of those in the title. Count on it. Sadly, syndication economics (and show costs) will tip that decision, and those are substantially hidden from us, so identifying the likely cancellation isn't going to get any easier going forward.
Rob's season finale raings without a Big Bang Theory lead in dropped to a series low. It will remain a "toss up" for renewal or cancellation, but I think it only has a chance to return if CBS expands its sitcom time on its Fall 2012 schedule.
