20 Photos of The Queen of Pop KILLING IT On Stage!

The year was 1999 and I was saving up all my money for fringe handkerchief tops at Contempo Casual and bright orange parachute pants. She was a little firecracker, that Christina Aguilera. A pint-sized cutie with the voice almost better than Whitney Houston’s.

Then in 2003, Aguilera came back a little angrier and a wee bit ghetto. Though I passed on wearing assless chaps, I respected her decision to do so. It also helped that Stripped was an incredible album.

So, Ms. Aguilera, while you’re walking around Hollywood with just a pair of undies on, your faithful fans fondly recall those badass moments on stage. “Moulin Rouge,” bitches!

A perfect compilation of some of Christina's greatest moments on stage that exhibits just how great she once was and can still be. Pay close attention to her outfits in the photos and you can just see how much she's influenced today's music trends. Christina was often considered the underdog and criticized for her attire back in the day, but I think it's because of Christina that dressing wacky and crazy is now socially acceptable and expected of today's artists. I think it's quite sad she's so often discredited for the things she's accomplished and influenced. For instance, musically, she also influenced the gay rights movement in pop music with "Beautiful." Before that, so-called "gay anthems" were unheard of, or existed when the term had yet to explode into the realm of pop culture.

Now is a perfect time to recognize just how different music today would be if Christina Aguilera didn't exist!

Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did ♥
