If there's anyone who knows a thing or two about being sexy, it's half-Dutch, half-British model Lara Stone. The 26-year-old, who bears a distinctive gap-toothed grin and a cup-size not commonly associated with a catwalk model, is so in-demand that former Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld thought she was so sexy she dedicated a whole issue of the magazine to her, while Calvin Klein signed her up to model for them exclusively.
But while we beg to disagree - she smoulders as the face and body of Calvin Klein's latest underwear range - Stone has her own opinions on what's sexy and what's not.
"Lady Gaga, for example, walking around in her bra and knickers and being really sexy but still she's not sexy at all, to me," she told Stylist .
"Being sexy is something inside and not everybody has it. I don't think I ever really had it, a lot of it is to do with confidence," Stone says modestly.
But TV cook Nigella Lawson is someone that Stone claims to be "obsessed" with. "I think she is just the most gorgeous person ever. Her skin practically makes me drool. I'd love to be like her."
Perhaps Stone is more like curvy Nigella than she thinks; this is the girl whose holiday destinations are determined by the food choices on offer. "I like nice comfort foods like shepherd's pie or bangers and mash. And best of all, "I have a big jar of liquorice next to my bed," she says - the bed which she shared with comedian husband David Walliams.
