Melanie Fiona has announced that her second album The MF Life is set to hit stores on October 25. The R&B songstress also offered up a preview of some promotional shots for the album, taken by photographer Kirk Edwards.
In the pics, posted by rap-up.com, Fiona is seen lounging in a café wearing a long fur scarf, cut-off jean shorts and shin-high boots.
The new album features production by Chuck Harmony, Jack Splash, Jerry "Wonda" Duplessis, Salaam Remi and Andrea Martin. While speaking with the site, Melanie says she's broken new ground:
"I've pushed myself creatively to go in places, to become a little more vulnerable, to show a sexier side, to use my voice as a different instrument on this album."
B.o.B, Bruno Mars, Drake, Cee Lo Green and John Legend make guest appearances on the LP.
Finally that Bruno Mars/Melanie collaboration is happening! I'm so happy about that. I'm also excited about the B.o.B collaboration and another song with Cee-Lo. John Legend and Drake ehh lol. But she said she used to be in a group with Drake so I guess it was inevitable that they would team up eventually.
